Information we collect
We collect information you choose to provide through our contact and project request forms, including your name, email address, phone number, company, subject, service interests, budget, timeline and message.
Our server may also receive limited technical information needed to deliver and secure the Site, such as IP address, request time, browser and device information, requested URL and security events. We do not intentionally collect special-category or highly sensitive information through the Site; please do not include it in free-text fields.
How we use information
- Respond to enquiries and assess project or service requests.
- Prepare proposals and take steps toward a contract.
- Deliver services and manage client relationships.
- Operate, troubleshoot and protect our Site and systems.
- Meet legal, regulatory, accounting and fraud-prevention obligations.
- Send marketing only where you have consented or applicable law otherwise permits it, with an option to opt out.
Our legal grounds
Depending on the context and applicable law, we process information because it is necessary to respond before entering a contract, perform a contract, comply with law, pursue legitimate interests such as operating and securing our business, or because you have given consent. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing.
Sharing and service providers
We may share information within the Geek Axon group where needed to route an enquiry or deliver work. We also use carefully selected providers for hosting, email, communications, security and professional advice. They may process information only for the relevant purpose and under appropriate obligations.
We may disclose information where required by law, to protect legal rights or in connection with a merger, acquisition or business transfer. We do not sell personal information.
International transfers
Because we operate internationally, information may be accessed or processed in the UK, USA, Pakistan or another country used by a service provider. Where required, we use appropriate contractual or legal safeguards for transfers between countries. You can contact us for more information about safeguards relevant to your data.
Retention
We keep enquiry information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above. General enquiries are typically reviewed for deletion after 24 months. If an enquiry becomes a client relationship, relevant records may be retained for the relationship and the applicable legal, tax, warranty and dispute periods. Security logs are generally kept for shorter operational periods unless needed to investigate an incident.
Security
We use organisational and technical measures intended to protect information, including access controls, transport encryption, backups and monitoring where appropriate. No online service can guarantee absolute security. If you believe information has been exposed, contact us promptly.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing, request portability, withdraw consent, or complain to a data protection regulator. Rights can be limited by law and we may need to verify your identity.
Send requests to [email protected]. We will respond within the period required by applicable law. UK residents may also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office; you may also contact your local regulator.
Children
The Site is intended for business audiences and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the Site. If you believe a child has provided information, please contact us so we can address it.
Cookies and external services
We use a necessary cookie to remember your consent choice. Optional browser storage and form-protection services are activated only after permission. Our Cookies Policy explains these technologies and how to change your choice.
Updates and contact
We may update this policy as our services or legal obligations change. Material changes will be highlighted where appropriate, and the latest revision date appears above.
